Back from vacation!
We are back! Back from vacation in South Padre Island, TX. And it was SO much fun!Seriously, it was exactly what we needed right now.

So many plans have been changed, adjusted, or just flat out canceled this year.

So many emotions, for all of us, but especially my kids. We decided that all three of them would do virtual school for at least the 1st 9 weeks, and see how things go. And, a little bonus with that was that we could still travel without the kids missing school.

So, we did some school work while on vacation. Sitting in the living room of our oceanview, beachfront, 5th floor condo with floor to ceiling windows all the way across, we did work on laptops while loving the views of the ocean. Not a bad place to “go to school”.

We got up early to watch the sunrise while drinking coffee on our balcony. We walked on the beach and played in the waves. And we spent a lot of time at the pool. Lots of sunscreen, water, and a few adult beverages were mixed in for sure!

It was such a chill and relaxing trip. We really just enjoyed our condo, the pool, and the beach. We usually stay at a hotel, but decided for a condo this time, so we could be more socially distant from others. And we really were. We were never close to anyone, even on the beach. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy!

And all of us with kids know that going on vacation with your kids can be challenging, but this trip was a lot of fun for all of us. Not saying that there were no moments at all, I mean, come on, right? But they were small moments, and we moved on pretty quickly!

And now we’re home, back to the real world. Dishes, laundry, drinks and snacks 84 times a day. I did unload most of our bags already, but that’s about it. I just don’t feel like dealing with anything else today! Lol

I am going to work on some fun biz stuff, and go through our vacation pictures, not worry about making dinner tonight, and dream about our next trip!

I really want to go to Colorado…..and Marco Island….and Hawaii. We are seriously thinking about planning a family trip to Hawaii next year!

Where is your favorite vacation spot?

Where would you go if you could go anywhere?

We love to dream about future vacations! I need to get my vision board going again! Do you have a vision board? That’s a whole other topic! Maybe next time!
